Job Description
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and assisting with financial planning and analysis. Whether you are a fresher eager to learn or an experienced professional, this role will provide you with opportunities to contribute to the company’s growth and gain valuable exposure in the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Support monthly and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Monitor inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS) with guidance from senior team members.
- Assist in preparing tax returns and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support internal audits and work with external auditors.
- Analyze financial data and provide basic reports/insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business and financial initiatives.
- Learn and improve financial controls and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience (1–3 years), especially in the FMCG industry, will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (academic or practical).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail with willingness to learn.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to ERP systems and inventory management (through projects, internships, or prior roles).
- Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS) will be an advantage.
