Job Title: Accountant (UAE Experience Preferred)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience with UAE VAT regulations, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations including receivables, payables, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations – including VAT returns, input/output reconciliation, and record keeping.
- Monitor cash flow, and expense tracking.
- Assist in payroll processing and WPS compliance.
- Support audit and year-end closing activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance.
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT laws, and corporate tax fundamentals.
- Proficient in accounting software (Odoo).
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- UAE driving license - plus
- Knowledge of UAE corporate tax implementation - plus
