We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring VAT compliance, and supporting audits and internal controls in line with UAE regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements (P\&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
Perform bank, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate VAT filing in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning reports.
Maintain compliance with IFRS, UAE company law, and internal controls.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
Proficient in Tally ERP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or SAP.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and FTA portal processes.
Familiarity with IFRS and local UAE financial reporting standards.
Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CMA is an advantage.
Preferred Candidate:
