Analyst – Baggage & Cargo Design

What you'll deliver

• You’ll be assisting the Senior Manager Baggage and Cargo Design and Head-

Logistics Capacity Planning with updating DXB/DWC Baggage and Cargo System Layouts, support on BHS facilities design, translating concept layout into CAD, development of BHS and Cargo system layout in 2D and 3D CAD.

• You’ll collaborate and coordinate efforts with internal stakeholders and ensure concept design meet the intended Concept of Operation. / Keep up with latest industry trends and ensure their dissemination within the team.

• You’ll support and capture requirements for the Baggage and Cargo plans including spatial requirements and ensuring the effective space requirements are prioritized considering capacity requirements and competing needs. / Ensure requestors provide robust User Requirement Specifications and support the manager on validating the space requirements. / You’ll maintain and update all simulation data models & assessments.

• You’ll Analyze and review service propositions that drive the planning process at DA, and the impact of proposed or actual changes, such as capacity enhancements (e.g. new infrastructure or technology) or restrictions (e.g. new regulations).

• You’ll work with stakeholders to develop the customer proposition for Dubai Airports. / Support in updating Baggage and Cargo design standards / guidelines.

What you bring

• You’ll be educated to a bachelor’s degree level in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field and have at least 3 years to 5 years of relevant & overall experience.

• You’ll have knowledge in preparation & presentation of architectural / interior / design reports & presentations. /

• Ability to produce imaginative designs that not only communicate to an audience but also inform, inspire and involve.

• You’ll have high proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling CAD design, MS Office.

• You’ll have an understanding of BHS and Cargo layouts and typography.

• Experience in developing and using simulation models (eg. Flexsim, Sketchup, CAST, AutoMod) would be an advantage.
