Finclutech is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Developer – Android with a strong background in financial services to lead the design, development, and maintenance of secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications. Responsibilities:-
- Implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, ensuring they align with user needs and business goals.
- Lead the development of Android mobile applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and an exceptional user experience.
- Design and implement secure authentication mechanisms, ensuring compliance with industry standards for data security and privacy.
- Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product teams to build seamless integrations between mobile apps and backend services.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, efficiency, and smooth functionality across a wide range of Android devices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that follows Android development best practices and design patterns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android trends, technologies, and industry best practices to ensure the team is at the forefront of mobile development.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance mobile applications to ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Lead efforts in designing and implementing robust testing strategies to ensure bug-free, high-performance applications.
- Work on the integration of APIs, databases, and third-party services to enhance app functionality.
- Collaborate closely with the UI/UX team to create intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing mobile interfaces.
- Manage app releases on Google Play, handling platform-specific requirements and optimizations to ensure seamless deployment.
- Lead initiatives to ensure app security and implement best practices in mobile app security.
Qualifications:-
- Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, or a related Engineering field to Computer Science
- 9+ years of experience in android development with a focus on financial services
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android development tools
- Strong knowledge of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP), and best practices
- Experience with secure coding practices, encryption, and mobile app security protocols (e.g., SSL, OAuth)
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services for financial solutions
- Familiarity with payment gateways, financial APIs, and mobile banking systems
- Knowledge of app deployment on Google Play and handling Android-specific compliance issues.
- Proficiency on working with source versioning systems
- Profound understanding of OWASP security principles
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on creating scalable and secure solutions.
- Experience with Firebase or other analytics tools for mobile apps.
- Experience with cross-platform development (e.g., React Native, Flutter)
