Hiring for Assistant Head Baker for our expansion.
Job Description:
1) Assist the head baker with overseeing all aspects of bakery’s baking operations.
2) Monitor the products that are made to the highest quality standards.
3) Assist the head baker to supervise in managing the staff of bakers including, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising.
4) Create new NPD’s.
5) Together with the Head Baker support the production team to identify improvements in their area.
6) Maintaining a clean working areas and equipment to prevent contamination and spoilage of food products.
7) Preparing ingredients for baking by measuring, chopping, mixing, kneading, and forming dough into loaves or other shapes
8) Ensures bakery and equipment are maintained according to proper health and sanitation standards.
9) Teaches and enforces safety regulations.
10) Maintain standardized recipes and procedure manual for the Bakery Department.
11) To be fully aware of company standards concerning food production, food presentation, food handling, controlling procedures
12) Maintain all machines and equipment in good repair.
13) Be familiar with the handling and cleaning procedures of the respective Pastry & Bakery equipment.
14) Supervise activities of bakery staff
15) Responsible for all opening and/or closing of Bakery functions.
16) Customer services, handling complaints, meeting specialized requirements, and providing friendly, efficient service.
