Registered Nurse/ Assistant Nurse for a dental clinic provides professional nursing care and clinical support to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality dental treatment. This role involves assisting the dentist during procedures, monitoring patient health, maintaining infection control standards, and ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Assessment
- Conduct pre-treatment assessments, including vital signs and medical history review.
- Monitor patient well-being before, during, and after dental procedures.
- Provide reassurance and education to patients about treatments and post-operative care.
- Clinical Assistance
- Prepare dental instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures.
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and treatments.
- Administer medications or anesthesia under dentist’s direction (as permitted by law).
- Infection Control & Safety
- Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Ensure all clinical areas comply with health and safety regulations.
- Properly dispose of sharps and biohazard waste.
- Administrative & Documentation Duties
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment notes and nursing observations.
- Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and referrals when necessary.
- Support clinic inventory management for medical and dental supplies.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current RN license (in accordance with local regulations).
- CPR and basic life support certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments (preferred but can be trained).
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Work Environment:
- Dental clinic setting with direct patient interaction.
- May involve working with patients of all ages, including children.
- Requires wearing protective gear such as gloves, masks, and eyewear.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
