Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant Outlet Manager to join our team at Cafe Social. The ideal candidate will support the Outlet Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and managing staff performance. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced cafe environment with a focus on service quality, team development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Operational Excellence:
- Assist the Outlet Manager in overseeing daily operations of Cafe Social, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Monitor cleanliness, ambiance, and presentation standards throughout the outlet.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and hygiene standards.
Guest Experience:
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through personalized service and attention to detail.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere consistent with the Cafe Social brand.
Team Management:
- Supervise and motivate the front-of-house team, ensuring adequate staffing during peak hours.
- Support in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Conduct daily briefings and regular performance evaluations.
Financial & Inventory Control:
- Assist in achieving revenue targets and cost control.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing for timely stock replenishment.
- Help manage cash handling procedures and POS operations.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Support the execution of in-house promotions, menu changes, and special events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance cafe visibility and customer engagement.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within a café or restaurant.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
