Assistant Sales Manager-Government (Arabic Speaker) - Franchise
Job RequirementsThe Assistant Sales Manager (Government) will support the sales team in developing and managing strategic relationships with government agencies, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and other public institutions. This role involves driving sales growth, identifying tender opportunities, assisting in bid preparation, and ensuring compliance with public procurement guidelines.
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies targeting government departments, ministries, and public sector clients.
- Identify and respond to government tenders, RFQs, and RFPs through relevant portals
- Coordinate and prepare technical and commercial bid documents in line with tender requirements.
- Maintain and build relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, legal, finance, logistics) to ensure smooth execution of government contracts.
- Track tender status, submission deadlines, and award notifications.
- Support Sales Manager in meeting sales targets and preparing sales reports and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with government procurement policies and regulations.
- Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
- Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients
- Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels
- Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
- Work within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities
- Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
- Attend Sales events, as required
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Director of Sales to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
- Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
