Job Description
How does your working day look like …
- Supervise and manage spa staff, including aestheticians, massage therapists, receptionists, and cleaning staff.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times and efficient operation during slower periods.
- Provide training for new and existing staff to maintain high service standards and keep them updated on the latest techniques and industry trends.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee front desk operations, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, handling reservations, and addressing client inquiries.
- Monitor and manage spa inventory, including skincare products, oils, and other consumables.
- Plan and execute marketing strategies and promotional events to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Monitor and drive sales goals, encouraging upselling of services and products.
- Ensure that all spa equipment is in good working order, coordinating repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized spa environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of service quality, providing feedback and guidance to staff as needed.
- Ensure the spa complies with all local health and safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records of spa services, financial transactions, and employee performance.
- Generate regular reports on spa performance for upper management.
- Handle customer complaints or staff conflicts in a professional and effective manner.
- Make informed decisions on matters related to staff, services, and overall spa management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new treatments, and technologies, and implement changes to keep the spa competitive.
Qualifications
Your personality counts more than your CV …
- You have 3-5 years of experience in similar role of Head Spa therapist, knowledge of local market, experience in hospitality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and computer skills.
- Previous experience in spa therapy would be recommended.
- Knowledge of driving revenue and ensuring maximum efficiency of the booking channels.
