About the Job:
Here's your chance to step into the role of Government Relations Associate (Fixed Term - 6 Months) at Dubai Holding Group Services. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that includes:
The Service Lead – Government Relations plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Although this role has no direct reports, the Service Lead is responsible for coordinating activities, identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring adherence to processes and standards.
Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations and concerns
- Ensure timely resolution of client issues to achieve high levels of client satisfaction
Service Delivery
- Oversee service delivery operations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect best practices and procedural accuracy
- Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) to address and prevent recurring issues.
- Identify potential process failure points and support risk mitigation efforts through Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and seamless service delivery
Team Support
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary technical and functional skills
- Drive a service-oriented mindset within the team and provide ongoing technical and functional guidance
- Support the development of team members' technical skills and encourage continuous learning
Data Analysis
- Review data trends using Power BI and other tools, identifying discrepancies and rectifying them in collaboration with the team
- Analyze data for Monthly Service Review (MSR) reports and provide insights for Management Operating Review (MOR) presentations
Compliance
- Ensure team members track transactions accurately as per established processes
- Escalate cases where processes are not adhered to and collaborate with the Team Lead to resolve issues
- Monitor team compliance with standards, emphasizing accountability and continuous process alignment
Service Network participation
- Actively participate in the Service Lead Network, a monthly forum for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices across teams
- Contribute to the platform by collaborating on tower-wide service excellence initiatives and supporting their rollout
- Engage in the self-directed network structure, which includes taking turns facilitating the sessions as part of a rotating leadership role (to be decided by the group)
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for service improvements, including quick wins (White Belt) and structured improvement projects (Yellow Belt)
- Oversee the implementation of process enhancements to improve efficiency and service quality
- Proactively highlight process discrepancies and escalate to the Team Lead with proposed solutions
About you:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field .
- 2-3 years of experience in HC operations, visa processing.
- Proficiency in data analysis and Excel
- HC systems and operations
- Ability to escalate issues effectively
- Skills to collaborate with cross functional teams
- Effective communication skill
