Job Title: Automobile Painter Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Automobile Painter to prepare, refinish, and paint vehicles to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of automotive paint products, techniques, and color matching, with the ability to deliver quality finishes on time. Key Responsibilities: 1. Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces. 2. Mix paints to match specified colors and textures. 3. Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray guns or painting equipment. 4. Repair and refinish damaged vehicle panels, including blending and touch-ups. 5. Inspect painted surfaces for defects and make necessary corrections. 6. Maintain tools, spray guns, and paint booths in good working condition. 7. Follow safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment (PPE). 8. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. 9. Work with team members to ensure timely completion of jobs. 10. Stay updated on new painting techniques and materials. Requirements: Proven work experience as an automobile painter. Knowledge of automotive paints, finishes, and repair techniques. Ability to mix and match colors accurately. Skilled in both manual and spray painting methods. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
