Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose electrical faults and issues using diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams, and manual testing.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, ignition, air conditioning, batteries, alternators, starters, and electronic control units (ECUs).
- Repair and replace faulty wiring, connectors, fuses, relays, and other electrical components.
- Perform repairs on vehicle security systems, infotainment systems, sensors, and CAN-bus wiring.
- Calibrate and test electronic components after repair or installation.
- Ensure compliance with workshop safety protocols and standards.
- Prepare job cards, record faults, repairs, and parts used accurately.
- Assist in installing and troubleshooting additional accessories (e.g., GPS trackers, reverse cameras, parking sensors).
- Stay updated on the latest automotive electrical technologies and systems.
Requirements:
- Technical Diploma / Certificate in Automotive Electrical or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience as an automotive electrician (light vehicles / heavy vehicles).
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and service manuals.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and multimeters.
- Familiarity with modern vehicle electrical systems (ABS, airbags, ECU, CAN-bus, sensors).
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage.
- UAE driving license (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with hybrid or electric vehicles.
- OEM certifications (e.g., Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, etc.).
- Knowledge of ADAS systems and re-calibration.
