Job Description:
We are seeking a graceful, passionate, and experienced Ballet Teacher to join our performing arts and fitness team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in classical ballet, a love for teaching, and the ability to inspire students of all ages to develop their skills, confidence, and artistic expression.
As a Ballet Teacher, you will lead structured, engaging, and age-appropriate ballet classes while promoting discipline, technique, and creativity in a fun and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ballet classes to students of various ages and levels, from beginner to advanced.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that cover proper ballet techniques, posture, stretching, and choreography.
- Prepare students for performances, showcases, or exams if applicable.
- Encourage students' personal growth, discipline, and appreciation for the art of ballet.
- Monitor student progress and provide individualized feedback.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other staff to plan recitals, events, and studio programs.
Qualifications:
- Professional training and experience in classical ballet (e.g., RAD, Vaganova, Cecchetti, or similar).
- Previous teaching experience with children and/or adults.
- Excellent communication, patience, and leadership skills.
- Passionate about dance education and student development.
- Physically fit with strong technique and performance ability.
Preferred:
- Degree or diploma in Dance or Performing Arts.
- Certification from a recognized ballet examination board.
- Experience in choreography or performance coaching.
