The Bell Boy is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests, assisting them with luggage handling, escorting them to their rooms, and ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering prompt and courteous service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests courteously upon arrival and departure.
- Assist guests with luggage, packages, and personal items safely and efficiently.
- Escort guests to their assigned rooms and explain hotel facilities, services, and amenities.
- Deliver messages, parcels, or other items to guest rooms as requested.
- Arrange for taxis, transportation, or other concierge services when required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby, luggage storage area, and bell desk.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and front office to ensure guest needs are met.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, escalating to supervisors when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit to handle luggage and stand for long periods.
- Basic English communication skills (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).
