Position Overview:As a Bilingual Assistant at Liali Events, you will play a vital role in supporting our team and enhancing our ability to serve clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. You will be the bridge between our English-speaking clients and our Arabic-speaking clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant, creative environment while promoting multicultural collaboration and creating extraordinary experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for Arabic-speaking clients, assisting with inquiries, consultation, and communication throughout the event planning process.
- Fluent translation of both written and verbal communication between Arabic and English.
- Coordinate with the event planning team to ensure that all client needs are met, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor coordination, and more.
- Assist in drafting event proposals, contracts, and other documents in both Arabic and English.
- Manage schedules, appointments, and client meetings.
- Maintain clear and organized records of all client interactions and event planning details.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Provide administrative support to the event planning team, including data entry, document management, and general office tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English is essential.
- Previous experience in translation or interpretation is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of event planning or the desire to learn about the industry is preferred.
- A positive and professional attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed, to accommodate client events.
