Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Building Management System (BMS) Operator to join our team, providing facility management services to our esteemed client, Dubai Islamic Bank. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the continuous monitoring, control, and maintenance of the BMS to ensure the safe, efficient, and optimal operation of all building services and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor the Building Management System (BMS) for alarms, system abnormalities, and operational efficiency.
* Proactively identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to HVAC, lighting, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
* Analyze plant performance data, review trends, and suggest improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce operational costs.
* Coordinate with the on-site maintenance and engineering teams to address and resolve any faults or operational issues promptly.
* Perform daily auditing of building systems using BMS functions such as data logging, alarm management, and plant review.
* Develop and maintain accurate documentation of system operations, maintenance activities, and all relevant logs.
* Ensure all operations are in compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
* Respond to and resolve tenant inquiries and technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
* Assist in the implementation of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and other facility management procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
* Proven experience as a BMS Operator, preferably in a commercial building or financial institution setting.
* Strong understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and their functionality.
* Familiarity with various BMS platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider) is an advantage.
* Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
