We are expanding our Business Development & Commercial team and are seeking an experienced and performance-driven Business Development & Commercial Manager to drive revenue across both the private and public sectors.
Role Summary
As a Business Development & Commercial Manager at Serdal Holding, your primary mandate is to drive revenue growth and achieve an annual business target of AED 15,000,000. You will play a central role in closing high-value opportunities, initiating partnerships, and expanding the company’s presence across both private and public sectors.
While your focus will be on converting leads into deals, building a commercially strong pipeline, and delivering consistent results, you will also be coordinating team efforts, assigning leads, and ensuring that all business development activities are executed efficiently and aligned with Serdal Holding’s strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and partnership execution, ensuring quarterly performance targets are met or exceeded.
- Actively contribute to lead generation efforts, including market research, platform monitoring, outreach, and networking.
- Initiate and maintain high-level connections in both the private and public sectors to expand the department’s network and open access points for the team.
- Achieve and report on an annual business generation target of AED 15,000,000 across public and private sector opportunities.
- Manage and regularly update the CRM system for both stakeholder engagement and project inflow tracking.
- Assign leads, opportunities, and action items to relevant team members, ensuring alignment with skill sets and pipeline priorities.
- Support the Assistant BDC Director in preparing internal documentation, performance reports, and departmental updates
Ideal Candidate
Experience & Skills
- 5 to 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management within a multi-sector or holding environment.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience and an active network in the Abu Dhabi market.
- Demonstrated experience in driving B2B sales pipelines, managing CRM systems, and tracking lead activity.
- Experience in dealing with both government stakeholders and private sector clients.
- Familiarity with UAE tender portals and regulatory systems (eSupply, Tejari, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million-dirham annual sales targets.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
- Advanced training in sales, CRM systems, or pipeline management is an advantage.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
