Job Description
Job Overview
In this role you are responsible for conducting secure and compliant video-based Know Your Customer (KYC) verifications for new account openings. This role involves updating customer information in the account opening application, coordinating with sales staff, and ensuring a smooth and efficient verification process for clients
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct Video KYC Verifications:
- Initiate and manage video calls with clients to verify identity and documents.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards during the verification process.
- Capture and record necessary data and documentation as per KYC guidelines.
- Update Account Opening Applications:
- Accurately input verified customer information into the account opening system.
- Ensure completeness and correctness of all data before submission.
- Client Coordination:
- Schedule and confirm video KYC appointments with clients.
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the verification process.
- Address client queries related to KYC requirements and procedures.
- Sales Team Collaboration:
- Liaise with sales staff to receive client details and verification status updates.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues encountered during the KYC process.
- Ensure timely follow-up and closure of pending verifications.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Maintain records of completed verifications and update internal tracking systems.
- Report any suspicious activity or non-compliance to the relevant authority.
- Stay updated on changes in KYC regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent qualification in finance or related fields
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on credit analysis and business support.
