CAD OPERATOR
Job Description:
We are in need of a skilled and experienced CAD Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD software and a passion for precision and detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Details section in Shop Drawings
- Quantities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit
- Convert sketches and specifications into digital models for construction or production
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback or design changes
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to refine designs
- Maintain organized archives of drawings and documentation
- Occasionally conduct site visits to gather data for accurate modelling
- Create and modify detailed CAD drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and designers.
- Create and modify technical drawings using civil 3d, land FX, Revit Software
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
- Review and revise designs as necessary based on feedback and project requirements.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest CAD software and techniques
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAD Operator or in a similar role.
- Minimum 2 years experience working with Civil 3D, Land FX, and Revit software.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to join immediately is preferred.
