Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Report to the line Manager/ HR functionally and on day-to-day injuries and ill health issues.
- Attend to the Medical Needs of Employees of Desert Group.
- Attend medical emergency at camp and provide support until arrival of medical aid.
- Comply with Dubai Health Authorities requirements and submit report to line manager/ HR.
- Monitor changes in International Standards in Health and set objective for incorporating standards or changes that benefit the Group.
- Follow-up on all employees on medical leaves, following up for short term medical leaves. Inform HRD of any worker’s compensation claims and complete the paperwork for submission to the insurance company.
- Follow-up on any occupational diseases and mitigation measures.
- Respond quickly to any infectious diseases.
- Conduct checks on camps or any company facility or location where employees are accommodated, maintain first aid boxes as per the checklist according to the UAE Labor law, adequate awareness of location of first aid by signboards.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- Passionate team player and driven to exceed results
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Bold personality, strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing Care
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
