Job Summary:
The Car Washer is responsible for ensuring that all vehicles serviced at our workshop are cleaned to the highest standards. This role involves washing, waxing, and detailing vehicles to meet the expectations of our customers and uphold the reputation of the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Washing: Clean vehicles thoroughly, including washing the exterior, vacuuming the interior, cleaning windows, and removing any debris.
- Detailing: Apply wax, polish, and protective treatments to enhance the appearance and protect the surfaces of the vehicles.
- Inspection: Conduct a pre-cleaning inspection of the vehicle to identify any damage or areas requiring special attention.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all car washing equipment is maintained and in good working condition. Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to the Workshop Manager.
- Supplies Management: Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies. Inform the Workshop Manager when supplies are low or require reordering.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers as needed, ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness of their vehicles.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members, including mechanics and other staff, to ensure a seamless workflow within the workshop.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a car washer or detailer preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and good time management skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
