Key Responsibilities:
- Reading technical drawings and plans
- Measuring and marking out wood accurately
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling wood or wood-based materials
- Creating structures like doors, windows, staircases, and furniture
- Installing fitted furniture (e.g. kitchens, cabinets)
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and precisely
- Working to strict measurements and deadlines
- Repairing or refurbishing existing wooden items
