Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all cash, credit, and cheque transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers and clients.
- Maintain proper records of daily cash collections, deposits, and petty cash usage.
- Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile discrepancies in financial transactions.
- Coordinate with the finance department for end-of-day settlements and documentation.
- Ensure secure handling and storage of cash and other financial instruments.
- Respond to inquiries regarding payments and provide clear information to clients.
- Assist in administrative finance tasks as required by the department.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; accounting or finance training is a plus.
- 1–2 years of experience as a cashier or in a finance-related role.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
