We are seeking a CCTV Operator to monitor and operate closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems to ensure the safety and security of people, assets, and premises. The role includes real-time surveillance, incident detection, reporting, and the retrieval of recorded footage to support investigations or legal proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor multiple CCTV feeds for suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Operate and control CCTV equipment, including zoom, tilt, and focus functions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities and incident reports.
- Review recorded footage to support internal investigations or law enforcement.
- Identify and report equipment faults or system errors to the technical team.
- Ensure CCTV operations comply with relevant data protection regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and authorized personnel as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CCTV, surveillance, or similar security role.
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and basic IT functions.
- Strong observational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to remain focused and effective under pressure or in stressful situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable with prolonged periods of screen monitoring.
