About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Chef De Partie to join the Main Kitchen at Jumeirah Creekside. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals in the assigned section and assist in the planning and managing of activities associated with the kitchen including menu creation and organizing, directing, and coaching kitchen staff such as Demi Chef De Partie or Commis as needed.
- Adheres to kitchen standard operating procedure in line with Jumeirah philosophy and luxury status.
- Ensures that health and food safety standards are practiced and helps troubleshoot any kitchen issues that may arise.
- Has a complete understanding of, and adhere to the company’s policy relating to Food hygiene and Safe Food Handling practices.
- Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management team including assistance for large events or hotel functions.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Previous 5 Star Luxury Hospitality experience
- Good communication skills in English
- Team Player - Collaborates positively and effectively with others and team
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and processes.
- College/Culinary graduate or certificate
