Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Chemist specializing in cosmetics and perfume to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty products and a strong background in quality control within the cosmetics or perfume industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development to create new cosmetic and perfume formulations.
- Perform quality control tests to ensure product stability, efficacy, and safety.
- Analyze raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company specifications.
- Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and marketing to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and formulations.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in cosmetic and perfume chemistry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field is required. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cosmetics or perfume formulation and quality control.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic chemistry principles, including raw materials, formulation techniques, and stability testing.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
