Project Management and Execution:
- Leading the technical execution:Overseeing the planning and implementation of civil engineering components of projects.
- Supervising and coordinating:Working with design and site execution teams, as well as other disciplines like architects and MEP engineers.
- Monitoring progress:Tracking project schedules and budgets and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Identifying and resolving issues:Addressing technical challenges that arise during project execution.
Technical Review and Compliance:
- Reviewing documents:Examining technical drawings, BOQs, and design documents for accuracy and compliance with codes and regulations.
- Ensuring compliance:Adhering to relevant codes, standards, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Providing technical input:Contributing to tendering and bidding processes and providing expert opinions on technical aspects.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Managing technical teams: Supervising and guiding the technical team, potentially including engineers and designers.
- Collaborating with stakeholders: Coordinating with project partners, subcontractors, and clients.
- Communicating effectively: Presenting progress reports and communicating technical information clearly.
Other Responsibilities:
- Tendering and bidding:Leading the tendering process for civil engineering projects and preparing technical and commercial proposals.
- Value engineering:Conducting technical evaluations and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Developing and implementing procedures:Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures for the technical office.
