Job Title: CNC Router & Fiber Laser Programmer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Router & Fiber Laser Programmer to join our signage manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC routers and fiber laser machines to produce high-quality signage components in materials such as acrylic, metal, wood, and composites. Experience in the signage industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate CNC routers and fiber laser machines to cut and engrave signage components.
- Create and optimize cutting paths using CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, ArtCAM, RDWorks, LightBurn, etc.).
- Interpret technical drawings and design files to ensure accurate machine setup and production.
- Select appropriate tools, settings, and materials for each job.
- Conduct machine maintenance and troubleshoot basic mechanical or software issues.
- Ensure quality control throughout the cutting and engraving process.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to improve workflow and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of consumables and request supplies as needed.
- Comply with safety and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC router and/or fiber laser programmer/operator, ideally in signage or related industry.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, RDWorks, etc.).
- Strong understanding of materials used in signage fabrication (acrylic, ACP, stainless steel, MDF, etc.).
- Familiarity with machine calibration, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and files.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Physically fit to handle materials and perform tasks involving standing for long periods.
- Minimum high school diploma or technical certification in related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
