Job Summary:
A construction storekeeper is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and tools at a construction site. They ensure accurate record-keeping, maintain inventory levels, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the site's operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verifying quantities and condition of incoming materials against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Documenting discrepancies or damages.
- Organizing and storing materials in designated areas, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
- Implementing safety measures to prevent damage, loss, or theft.
- Distributing materials based on approved requests or work orders.
- Maintaining records of material issues and returns.
- Tracking stock levels and reordering materials as needed.
- Performing regular stock checks and reconciling physical stock with records.
- Maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Maintaining accurate records of all material transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
- Updating inventory management systems (if applicable).
- Ensuring a safe and organized work environment in the store area.
- Adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements:
- The ability to pay particular attention to detail.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent management skills.
- Strong multitasking skills.
- Good time management skills.
- 4-5 years of professional experience in a related job field/position.
- Diploma certificate required.
Salary Provided:
The company is offering a salary of AED 2000 - AED 2500 per month + accommodation
