Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' responses to pain management before, during, and after procedures; address complications and record anesthesia types, amounts, and patient status.
- Assess procedural risks by reviewing medical histories, conducting examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests, such as X-rays or lab work; collaborate with medical teams to determine the most appropriate anesthetic approach.
- Provide airway management and emergency life support during critical surgeries.
- Oversee patients’ recovery post-surgery, ensuring they are stable before transitioning to other care units or discharge.
- Manage anesthesia services, coordinate with healthcare professionals to develop procedural plans, and oversee the work of nurses, technicians, and support staff.
- Educate patients and their families about post-procedure care, potential complications, and preventive health practices.
- Medical specialization degree in Anaesthesiology.
- A minimum of three years’ experience as a practicing anesthesiologist.
- Board certification in anesthesiology.
- Expertise in epidurals, spinals, and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
