Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatrician to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring high-quality medical care and promoting overall well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat childhood illnesses, from minor health problems to serious diseases
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to determine medical conditions
- Develop and manage comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patients
- Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness and side effects
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive health measures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and therapists, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Provide emergency medical care when necessary and refer patients to other specialists as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and reports
- Stay updated with the latest medical research, treatments, and technologies in pediatric care
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Board certification in pediatrics or a relevant sub-specialty
- Minimum of five years of experience in pediatric care
- Excellent communication, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Strong commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Must be Western-trained
