To support our continued growth and uphold the highest standards of legal and contractual integrity, we are hiring a Contracts & Compliance Manager. This pivotal role will oversee end-to-end contract lifecycle management and regulatory compliance across all business channels.
Position Overview
The Contracts & Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing commercial agreements, ensuring adherence to UAE laws and industry regulations, and safeguarding the organization from legal and operational risks. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong legal acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across departments to ensure company-wide compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesContracts Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including client agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, service MOUs, and government tenders.
- Ensure contracts are aligned with UAE legal standards and internal corporate policies.
- Maintain version control and complete documentation throughout the contract lifecycle.
Compliance Oversight
- Monitor compliance with UAE federal and local laws (RTA, Ministry of Labor, VAT, transport regulations, etc.).
- Develop and implement internal compliance frameworks and ensure enforcement across departments.
- Support licensing, legal renewals, and ensure proper representation in regulatory matters.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with external legal counsel, auditors, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of contract terms and timely resolution of any legal or compliance-related matters.
- Provide legal guidance to internal departments and assist with policy interpretation.
Governance & Reporting
- Maintain a centralized and structured contract repository, ensuring easy access and audit readiness.
- Track contract performance, expiry/renewal dates, financial exposure, and SLA compliance.
- Support internal and external audits with well-organized documentation and compliance records.
Risk Management & Dispute Resolution
- Identify legal risks or gaps in contract execution and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Support in managing disputes, claims, or regulatory investigations in coordination with legal advisors.
Candidate Profile
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- LLB or UAE Legal Certification preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract management, corporate compliance, or legal advisory roles.
- Prior experience in transportation, logistics, hospitality, or government services is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of UAE labor law, civil law, and industry-specific regulations.
Skills
- Exceptional contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- High attention to legal accuracy and document control.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with contract management tools or ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) is preferred.
