Credit Department Officer

Overview

Job Description

• Verify and validate the distribution of credit in the system, ensuring accuracy in the amount and terms of the credit according to the contract.
• Records and reconciles in the system the portion paid through the bank for loans distributed
• Ensures that all required documents and verifications are completed before final validation of the loan disbursement process.
• Confirms that the loan disbursement is in accordance with the institution's policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Records data in the credit management system.
• Verify and update the system with accurate customer data.
• Maintain accurate records of credit disbursements and report any discrepancies for review.
• Communicates and notifies branches as needed on issues related to the validation of loan disbursement.
• Checks documents for any discrepancies before releasing funds.

Job Requirements

• University degree in Economics or a similar field,
• Experience in lending operations, credit distribution processes or similar roles in the financial services sector.
• Professional knowledge in the use of credit management systems and financial systems.
• Attention to detail and good ability to work with numbers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Research, analytical and information evaluation skills,
• Very good computer skills (Microsoft Office programs),
