Position Overview
We are looking for a talented and creative Customised Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior bakery experience, a passion for design, and excellent technical skills in cake decorating. You will be responsible for crafting beautiful and delicious creations that delight our customers and bring their visions to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Decorate customised cakes to the highest standards, including tiered, themed, and occasion cakes.
- Create precise and creative fondant decorations, including human figurines, lettering, and other detailed elements.
- Use various decorating tools and techniques to achieve artistic designs.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.
- Work collaboratively with bakers and other decorators to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with food safety standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a bakery setting; cake decorating experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Creativity and proficiency with cake decorating tools and techniques.
- Skilled in fondant modelling, particularly human figurines and lettering.
- A positive, “can-do” attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work weekends as required.

Successful candidates must be available for interviews on August 16th or 17th.
