Role Overview
We seek an experienced Delivery In charge to oversee end-to-end delivery operations, ensuring timely distribution of our lighting products while optimizing team performance and customer relationships. You will manage resources, mitigate risks, and uphold our standards of efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Management:
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise delivery drivers and personnel.
Conduct performance reviews and foster a collaborative team environment.
2. Operational Excellence:
Monitor delivery schedules, optimize routes using software tools, and resolve on-ground issues.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and transportation regulations.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
Build strong client relationships through proactive communication.
4. Process Improvement & Reporting:
Track KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, cost efficiency) and generate performance reports.
Identify bottlenecks and implement Agile/Lean methodologies for continuous improvement.
5. Resource & Risk Management:
Manage budgets, allocate assets (vehicles, equipment), and control operational costs.
Identify logistical risks (delays, damages) and deploy preventive measures.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Support problem-solving initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in delivery/logistics management, with exposure to project/product delivery.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with route optimization software and delivery management systems.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with technical/non-technical stakeholders, clients, and teams.
Problem-Solving: Aptitude for resolving operational challenges and making data-driven decisions.
Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of commercial/financial aspects impacting delivery operations.
Awareness of Agile/Lean methodologies and industry best practices.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field (preferred).
