We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Dental Nurse to join our team at Next Care Dental Clinic. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. Your expertise in patient care, sterilization procedures, and assisting during dental treatments will contribute to a positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures and treatments, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available.
- Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Prepare and set up dental operatory rooms before and after patient appointments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes and medical history.
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and answer any queries related to their treatment.
- Manage patient flow, ensuring that appointments run on schedule and patients are attended to promptly.
- Assist with the preparation of materials for dental impressions, fillings, and other procedures.
- Take dental x-rays and assist with diagnostic tasks as required.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols, including infection control.
- Provide comfort and reassurance to anxious patients before, during, and after their procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and maintaining inventory levels of dental supplies.
Requirements:
- Must have a DHA Licence to practice as a Dental Nurse in the UAE.
- Proven experience as a Dental Nurse in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the dental team.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in using dental software for patient management and record-keeping.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed.
