Job Responsibilities:
Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment: Provide accurate diagnosis and treatment of various skin, hair, and nail conditions. Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications as necessary.
Cosmetic Procedures: Administer cosmetic dermatology procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and laser treatments to enhance the appearance of patients.
Skin Cancer Screening: Conduct skin cancer screenings and biopsies, and offer guidance on prevention and early detection.
Patient Consultations: Consult with patients to discuss their concerns, educate them on skincare, and create personalized skincare regimens.
Procedural Skills: Perform dermatological procedures, including skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and microdermabrasion.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including dermatology colleagues, plastic surgeons, and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest developments in dermatology, treatments, and technologies through continuous education and professional development.
Job Requirements:
DHA License: A valid DOH License is mandatory to practice as a Dermatologist in Abu Dhabi.
Medical Degree: Hold a recognized medical degree in dermatology from an accredited institution.
3-5 Years of Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions.
Board Certification: Board certification in dermatology is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective patient consultations and interactions with the healthcare team.
Compassion and Empathy: Show empathy, patience, and compassion when dealing with patients and their concerns.
Attention to Detail: Possess a keen eye for detail and accuracy in diagnosis and treatment.
Procedural Skills: Proficiency in various dermatological procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments.
Adaptability: Be open to adapting to new techniques and technologies in the field of dermatology.
Ethical Conduct: Maintain the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct in patient care.
