Job Description
To develop and deliver compelling visual content that brings the Zayed Sustainability Prize’s brand, impact and campaigns to life. This role combines hands-on design expertise with creative ideation to support marketing, events and digital outreach across platforms, ensuring brand consistency, storytelling effectiveness and audience engagement. The role supports content effectiveness by ensuring creative outputs directly contribute to measurable campaign outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure that all design jobs adhere to Zayed Sustainability Prize’s visual brand guidelines.
- Own, maintain and evolve the brand guidelines, ensuring they remain relevant and comprehensive across all platforms and use cases.
- Develop new logos, adverts, artworks based on new projects and initiatives that are launched.
- Ensure that all jobs, photos, logos, collateral etc. are properly archived
- Brainstorm with the team and think creatively to produce new concepts and mock up design ideas.
- Present ideas and adjust concepts to achieve the desired communication goals of the collateral produced.
- Remain abreast and knowledgeable of the latest design programs.
- Ensure development of collateral including but not limited to brochures, flyers/HTML, mailers, outdoor branding, signage, social media assets, promotional materials, advertisements…etc.
- Create and maintain design templates across multiple platforms, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to ensure brand consistency across day-to-day communications.
- Align creative deliverables with campaign objectives, ensuring visual content contributes to KPIs such as audience engagement, click-through rates, and submission conversions.
- Edit and produce basic motion graphics and animated content using tools such as Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Incorporate AI-assisted tools for image generation, video editing, and content ideation to support efficiency and experimentation in creative development.
- Establish production timelines and delivery schedules that meet agreed upon delivery requirements, working with other agencies or other vendors to complete the final product.
- Ensure that design jobs are delivered in a timely manner with the highest quality possible.
- Collaborate with digital and media teams to monitor asset performance and adapt creative materials based on performance data and stakeholder feedback.
- Manage the flow of design requests, track progress, and ensure timely delivery through effective design job trafficking and internal coordination.
- Recommend and implement AI-based tools that can improve design pipeline efficiency and reduce production time.
- Build and maintain a network of relevant contacts to support daily activities and long-term objectives of the team.
- Engage with and monitor relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure adequate knowledge transfer and completion of services as per agreed parameters.
- Apply consistent approaches/discipline and standardized forms in line with relevant policies, processes and procedures.
- Prepare relevant reports and updates as required and to the desired standard.
- Provide management information as and when required by the line manager – this includes the production and timely provision of accurate reports in line with reporting schedules.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design or an equivalent experience
- Experience working on Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design), Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve
- Familiarity with AI design tools such as Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, or RunwayML is a strong advantage
