Job Description:
We are hiring a skilled Draftsman with hands-on experience in contracting or construction projects. The candidate must be capable of preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings and shop drawings for various construction and fit-out works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and shop drawings for construction and fit-out projects
- Coordinate with engineers, site teams, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy and clarity
- Modify and revise drawings based on site conditions and consultant/client feedback
- Ensure drawings comply with industry and company standards
- Maintain an organized drawing archive and documentation
- Conduct site visits to collect measurements and understand design requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of drafting experience in a contracting or fit-out company
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software (e.g., Revit is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and detailing
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
