Key Responsibilities
- Drawing & Drafting
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD or relevant drafting software based on project requirements.
- Convert conceptual sketches and designs into detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Ensure all drawings are in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Coordination
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to develop accurate technical drawings.
- Coordinate with site teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and provide updated drawings as required.
- Assist in preparing detailed drawings for approvals and submittals.
- Documentation & Control
- Maintain and update drawing registers and filing systems for easy retrieval.
- Ensure version control of drawings and issue revised drawings promptly.
- Support the preparation of As-Built Drawings for final project handover.
- Technical Support
- Provide drafting support to the engineering and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and update drawings in response to site instructions and variations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Drafting / Engineering / Architecture.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in construction, infrastructure, or fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, detailing, and technical standards.
- Ability to prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
