Position : Draftsman cum Estimator
Location: Dubai
Salary: 3500 - 4500 per month
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience - 2 yrs
Industry: Glass & Aluminum
- Create Detailed Drawings: Prepare accurate technical drawings, schematics, and plans based on specifications provided by engineers or architects.
- AutoCAD Proficiency: Use AutoCAD or similar drafting software to create, modify, and update designs and drawings.
- Technical Documentation: Assist in the preparation of documentation including specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and other technical documents related to the drawings.
- Collaboration: Work with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that the drafts meet project requirements and standards.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Calculate material quantities and costs for glass, hardware, and installation.
- Request and review supplier and subcontractor quotes.
- Collaborate with sales and project managers to develop competitive bids and proposals.
- Monitor market prices and ensure estimates reflect current material and labor rates
