We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsman / Project Coordinator with strong AutoCAD skills and at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within the racking and shelving industry. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about learning, capable of handling project coordination tasks, and willing to grow within our dynamic team. A valid driving license is required for occasional site visits and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD for racking and shelving systems.
Interpret project specifications, site measurements, and technical documents to produce accurate design drafts.
Coordinate with the sales, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct site visits to take measurements and assist in project planning and installation supervision.
Assist in scheduling and tracking project progress to ensure timely delivery and installation.
Revise drawings as needed based on client feedback and site changes.
Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project records.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to clarify design concepts and project details.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of drafting experience, preferably in the racking & shelving or related industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D is a plus).
Strong attention to detail with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the company.
Valid driving license (required for site visits).
Diploma or degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
