A Driver’s responsibility is to transport products in a safe and timely manner, which includes arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions, and managing payments and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking up and delivering products on time
- Ensuring that all document requirements, such as customer signatures on delivery notes, are met
- Assist with loading and offloading of products
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to deliver promptly
- Presenting a positive image of the company to customers and suppliers
- Ensuring that vehicles are clean, operational, and well maintained
- Ensuring that equipment in the vehicle, such as temperature control and GPS, are functional
- Reporting any issues
- Recording the temperature of the vehicle and proper maintenance.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid UAE Manual driver’s license
