We are looking for an experienced E3D Designer specializing in Electrical and Instrumentation within the Marine, Oil, and Gas sectors. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to develop comprehensive 3D models and documentation for electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and efficient designs for complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:3D
Design & Drafting: Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of electrical and instrumentation systems using E3D software, tailored for marine and offshore applications.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and integrate designs into overall project workflows.
Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including electrical schematics, instrumentation layouts, and equipment specifications.
Quality Control: Conduct design reviews and ensure all outputs meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.Issue Resolution: Identify design challenges and provide effective solutions to ensure project timelines and quality are maintained.
Data Integrity: Organize and manage project data, ensuring all information is accurate and accessible for team members.
Client Engagement: Attend client meetings to present design concepts and gather feedback, ensuring client needs are met.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior designers and team members, sharing best practices in E3D design.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5+ experience in electrical and instrumentation design, specifically within the Marine, Oil, and Gas industries.
Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in E3D software; familiarity with electrical codes and regulations applicable to marine and offshore environments.
