Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to join our dynamic team in an Interior Fit-Out Company. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of proven experience in the UAE, specifically in electrical drafting work related to interior fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics as per project specifications.
- Coordinate with the design team, site engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate implementation of electrical plans.
- Develop shop drawings, load schedules, single line diagrams, and low current system layouts (CCTV, Fire Alarm, Data, Telephone, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with local authorities' regulations (DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, etc.).
- Revise and update electrical drawings based on site modifications or design changes.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion.
- Maintain proper documentation of all drawings and related files.
- Support the estimation and quantity surveying team when needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of electrical drafting experience in the UAE within the interior fit-out industry.
- Proficient in Auto CAD and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems related to interior projects.
- Familiarity with UAE electrical codes and authority approvals.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BIM/Revit is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of MEP coordination is a plus.
