Job Title: Electrician
Department: Maintenance / Facilities
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor or Facility Manager
Job Purpose:
To install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment.
- Inspect electrical systems, wiring, and equipment to identify hazards or defects.
- Perform regular maintenance to prevent system breakdowns.
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and other components.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with other technicians or departments for repairs and upgrades.
- Maintain logs of repairs and maintenance work.
- Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical or a related field.
- Proven experience as an electrician (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
- Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Good physical condition and willingness to work in different settings.
- Certification or license as required by local authorities.
