European University Rak Campus is seeking a dedicated and versatile educator to teach English and Mathematics to undergraduate or foundation-level students. The ideal candidate will possess strong teaching skills in both subject areas and demonstrate the ability to engage diverse, multilingual learners in a European higher education environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Curriculum Development
- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and workshops in both English and Mathematics.
- Design course content and assessments aligned with program learning outcomes and European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) standards.
- Integrate modern teaching methodologies, digital tools, and interdisciplinary approaches.
- Teaching & Instruction:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in English and Mathematics aligned with the curriculum.
Curriculum & Assessment:
- Develop and adapt curriculum content to suit the educational level of the class.
- Prepare and administer assessments, exams, and assignments.
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and achievements.
Classroom Management:
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
- Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
Professional Development & Collaboration:
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary approaches to teaching.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
- Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of individual students.
- Encourage student participation and critical thinking through interactive and differentiated instruction.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
Student Support & Assessment
- Prepare, administer, and grade assessments, assignments, and exams.
- Provide academic support and feedback to students.
- Monitor and report student progress, and participate in academic advising if required.
Collaboration & Administration
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic planning.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and co-curricular activities.
- Contribute to quality assurance processes and accreditation efforts.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in English, Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience at university or college level is preferred.
- Strong command of English (C1/C2 level); additional European language skills are a plus.
