Job Description
- Conduct assessment of client’s established systems to ensure compliance with International Standards such as but not limited to ISO 14064 series, ISO 14068-1 and other ESG-related standards
- Carry out third-party assurance of ESG information engagements
- Document Review: Review and verify documentation related to environmental, social, and governance practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Audit Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, non-conformities and areas for improvement.
- Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions for clients on ESG topics to enhance their understanding and implementation of ESG practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with various stakeholders to gather information and ensure comprehensive audit coverage.
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in an ESG role as auditor, project manager, or similar role
- Completed Lead Auditor Course on any of the following, as a minimum: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001. Additional qualifications in sustainability courses (e.g. ISO 14064, Carbon Neutrality, GRI, ISO 37001, ISO 31000, SA 8000) would be an advantage
- Prior experience in a third-party certification body experience as Auditor/Lead Auditor/Verifier/Lead Verifier/Assuror/Lead Assuror is highly preferred;
