Job Title: Excavator OperatorJob Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will operate heavy equipment to perform tasks such as digging, trenching, and loading materials on various job sites. Experience with a range of excavator sizes and attachments is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently in accordance with company and site safety standards.
- Excavate trenches, foundations, and other earthmoving tasks according to project plans.
- Load and unload materials, move soil and debris, and assist with site grading.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and report malfunctions or required repairs.
- Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and job specifications.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other workers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to environmental regulations and maintain a clean and organized work site.
- Assist with other construction duties as needed when equipment is not in use.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an excavator operator (typically 2+ years).
- Valid operator certification or license (varies by region/state).
- Strong understanding of safety practices and mechanical equipment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GPS or laser-guided excavation systems.
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is a plus.
- Knowledge of various attachments and machine types (mini, mid-size, and large excavators).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
